Really, the only thing I'm personally a little miffed on is the length of the episode. I think I was holding back a little, nervous about how it would be perceived, if everything would fit together. I also think I stayed a little too close to the Metal Gear side of things, as was pointed out. I need to find that middle ground and not just rehash the Metal Gear script. Though, some people seemed to like that aspect of it.
Anyway, for anyone who's wondering when I'll start work for episode 2 the answer is; Sometime in December.. meaning at the very earliest the second episode will be out by New Year's Eve and at the latest the first week of January. I'm really going to spent a lot of time working on the dialogue, improving smoothness of animations, trying some effects, including more action and points of interest and improving the overall length. Also working on a slightly flashier title sequence. I don't think I'll change the main menu look, I like that it's the codec screen, but I may revamp the scenes menu.
